Willcox Fire-Rescue responded to 175 N. 1st Ave. for a report of a fully involved structure fire around 11:30pm Tuesday.
Upon arrival, the front half of the structure was fully involved. Crews began indirect attack and defensive operations to protect neighboring homes and structures.
No other homes or structures were damaged, and the fire was quickly brought under control and extinguished.
Occupants stated they were charging batteries in the living room when they heard a loud pop. They saw a large fire had started, quickly spreading. The American Red Cross was contacted to assist the displaced occupants. There were no injuries.
