Raise a Glass to the 2025 Tombstone Wine Celebration!

It's a weekend of fine wine and wild west fun at the Tombstone Wine Celebration on Saturday, April 5, and Sunday, April 6, 2025! Hosted by the Tombstone Forward Association since 2018, this event celebrates Cochise County’s local vineyards, featuring Laramita Cellars, Aridus Wine Company, High Lonesome Vineyards, 1764 Vineyards, Copper Horse Vineyard, Desert Blossom Winery, and Omphalos Winery.




Sample award-winning wines, including Laramita’s Pinot Noir, a Best of Class winner & Governor's Cup Finalist. Laramita Cellars is located in the foothills of the Dos Cabezas Mountains at an elevation of 4,531 feet. The first vines were planted in 2013, and they now grow eighteen varieties.



 

Laramita will be pouring the following wines at the event:


White:

  • 2023 Vermentino; "Best in Class", 2025 Arizona Governor's Cup: light minerality, white flowers and a citrus finish

  • 2023 Roussanne; "Best in Class", 2025 Arizona Governor's Cup: rich and creamy, with toast aromas and notes of melon, honey, and chamomile tea. Fermented in neutral oak


Red:

  • 2022 Pinot Noir; "Best in Class" and Governor's Cup Finalist, 2025 Arizona Governor's Cup

  • 2022 Arizmo Cabernet/Merlot blend:

  • 2023 Dos Compadres Primitivo/Petite Sirah blend: notes of black fruit, plums, and blueberries

  • 2022 Padre Kino dessert wine; Silver Medal, 2024 Arizona Governor's Cup: notes of cherry sugar, plums, cacao, black tea and dried herbs. Pair this wine with chocolate cake


 

Cool off with High Lonesome Vineyards’ signature red wine slushy, from a veteran-owned winery voted top 10 Best in Arizona by consumers in Choice Wineries.

  • 2020 Keep Your Head Up, National Silver Medal Winner: This 100% dry Riesling boasts distinctive notes of white peaches, apricots and juicy pear complimenting its delicate clean finish.

Red:

  • 2020 Philip John, International Bronze Medal Winner: A ruby-red 100% Lemberger presents your pallet with red cherries, red current, black berries, plum and peppery spice notes that evolve into a sweet warm vanilla tone.

  • 2020 Roll Call, International Silver Medal Winner: This one of a kind 100% Cab Franc is boasting with hints of sweet strawberries, raspberry sauce and black cherries, accompanied subtle hints of baking spice flavors, cinnamon, clove, mocha and milk chocolate.

Tickets: $35 at the entrance (cash or card); includes commemorative wine glass & 10 wine sampling tickets.

The festivities don’t stop at wine!



Schieffelin Days kicks off at 8:00 AM Saturday with the annual Donkey Dash, sponsored by GoodEnough Silver Mine Underground Tours. The donkeys will dash on a 3, 6, or 13 mile race across the hills of Tombstone with their handlers. The donkey parade will be at 3:00pm.


Go underground into a real 1880’s Silver Mine 100 feet below the ground at the GoodEnough Silver Mine Tour.
